MOTHERING
I want my children to know
Their only safety is in you, Lord.
As I lay my hand on their throbbing heads
Or heaving chests, I pray they will sense
You through me.
It is the best I can give them that will last.
I want to be a link from You to them
That they can always find
When I am no longer there.
I put their hand regularly in Yours
And pray they will know what I know:
In the end - You are all there is to know,

i hope you are not going anywhere anytime soon. i love the poem and it is true. i hope you kids know how much you love them and care for them and need them.
thank you for your cards. i cried my heart out holding on to it for dear life. i read it over and over. i love you and i'm grateful you care about me too.
the kids and i will be alright for we are in God's hands. and we have so much love surrounding us, like yours.
